It aims to empower individuals around the world through accessible, open-source learning materials. Their flagship curriculum, the Bitcoin Diploma, has become one of the most widely used resources for beginners looking to understand Bitcoin from first principles.

As part of our shared commitment to financial literacy and global Bitcoin adoption, HCM Capital partnered with My First Bitcoin to translate the Bitcoin Diploma into Chinese, making this foundational resource more accessible to Chinese-speaking communities.

Jack founded HCM Capital in 2014 and has been investing across from digital assets, Fintech to, in recent years, Bitcoin space. He currently sits on the board of Abra. Jack was previously Board Director at Galaxy Digital, Cambridge Blockchain (acquired), FnConn, etc. He also serves as a strategic advisor to Figure Technologies, and as a Fellow at SUSS (Singapore University of Social Science). Jack spent a decade at Foxconn where he led over 10 strategic investments to strengthen Foxconn’s value chain in the global tech arena. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at JP Morgan, Citi, etc in Taiwan. Jack received his MBA from UCLA Anderson School and BBA from National Taiwan University.

Beth is responsible for post-investment management of portfolio companies and financial operations at HCM Capital. Prior to joining HCM Capital, she accumulated over ten years of experience in auditing and post-investment management, working with PwC, Noah Wealth Management, and AVIC Capital.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in China and holds a Level A Certificate in Judicial Accounting. Beth earned her MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
